Disruption to Dublin City Water Supply This Weekend

We were reporting the burst water main on Market St South, emergency works are in place at the moment to try and repair it.

This may cause a loss of water pressure from today, Friday 28th February 2014 until Sunday, March 2nd 2014

The areas most likely to be worst affected include:

· North of the Liffey : Cabra; Glasnevin; Phibsboro; Drumcondra; parts of Doneycarney; Santry and parts of Beaumont;
· South of the Liffey: Heuston area south to Thomas St and east to Bridgefoot St.

Work began on the repairs at 6.30am this morning and is likely to continue well into Sunday evening.

If required, water tankers will be made available for customers. Locations of tankers will be detailed in updates throughout the weekend, through press releases, on our website at www.dublincity.ie and on Twitter @DubCityCouncil.
