Guess who just got back today?

Well not today but tomorrow,  the reinstated Philip Parris Lynott statue on Dublin’ s Harry Street on will be unveiled at 11 AM

The much loved artwork of the Thin Lizzy star, created by artist Paul Daly was originally unveiled in 2005 and has become one of the city’s most popular public sculptures with fans coming from far and wide to see it.

Sadly the statue suffered severe damage in May of this year, when it was pushed over, but a couple of knob ends and had to be removed for repair.

The repair work was skilfully carried out at CAST Bronze Foundry and the statue has now been returned to its original place on Harry Street, just off Grafton Street.

The unveiling will take place in the company of special guest Ms Philomena Lynott, mother of Philip, and Councillor Mary Freehill, representing Lord Mayor Oisín Quinn.
